The Iowa State men’s basketball team got a big commitment for its 2023 recruiting class this weekend.
Milan Momcilovic, a 6’8 and 205 pound forward from Pewaukee, Wisconsin, announced his commitment Saturday.
Momcilovic is the highest-ranked recruit in that state of Wisconsin and the 34th overall ranked recruit in 2023. He’s the fourth highest-ranked recruit in Iowa State history.
Momcilovic picked the Cyclones over Virginia, UCLA, Michigan State, Louisville, Minnesota, Creighton, Texas and others.
This past season he helped lead Pewaukee to a 27-3 record and the Wisconsin Division-2 state title.
Last year he averaged 18 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
