Podcast: UNI men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson talks 7 transfers, 5 spring signees

UNI men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson recently joined ‘Cole & Company’ to discuss a busy spring.

After seven Panthers departed the team via the transfer portal after this past season, Jacobson and his staff had more spring recruiting to do than any of his prior 18 years as the program’s head coach.

Jacobson also discusses initial conversations he’s had with new Director of Athletics Megan Franklin and offers a critique of a common characterization of the player movement and name-image-likeness era that’s taken hold of college athletics.
