The boys high school soccer postseason kicked off last night with Class 1A and 2A first round substate games taking place across the state.
In area 2A games;
Aplington-Parkersburg beat New Hampton, 7-1.
Independence stopped West Delaware, 2-0.
Class 3A and 4A boys first round substate matches take place this evening.
In area 3A games, Waverly-Shell Rock is at Cedar Rapids Xavier and Sumner-Fredericksburg hosts Western Dubuque.
