Black Hawks Coach Matt Smaby was pleased with four of the six periods Waterloo played against the USHL-leading Fargo Force over the weekend. The Hawks’ performance was nearly enough to earn a win on Saturday, but a Fargo goal in the final minute led to overtime. Ultimately, the Force claimed a four-round shootout.
