Former Waterloo West standout wrestler Mike Van Arsdale is one of six former Cyclones soon to be inducted into the 2024 Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame.
Van Arsdale wrestled at Iowa State from 1984-88 and was a three-time All-American and NCAA Champion at 167 pounds in 1988.
At Waterloo West he compiled a record of 77-13, including a state championship in 1982.
The date for the Iowa State Athletics Hall of Fame ceremony is yet to be announced.
