The City of Waterloo has hired its new Regional Airport Director. Steven Kjergaard has been hired as the new director, pending the approval of the Waterloo City Council. Kjergaard will succeed Keith Kaspari, the previous director who retired last month after 10 years at the helm. Kjergaard has at least 20 years of experience with smaller airports and has recently served airports in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, and Williston, North Dakota.
