Waterloo Police have made an arrest in connection with a 2022 murder. 50-year Luttreal Dwayne Allen of Waterloo has been charged with second-degree murder. Police say Allen assaulted 71-year old Ibrahim Lagumdzic at the Hometown Foods store on Mitchell Ave on March 7, 2022. Lagumdzic later died from his injuries at a local hospital. Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
