Aplington-Parkersburg football head coach Alex Pollock resigns after 14 seasons

Aplington-Parkersburg football coach Alex Pollock announced on his Facebook page that he’s been asked to resign. 

Pollock expressed frustration in his Facebook post about being asked to resign, but ultimately agreed to.

He was hired as Aplington-Parkersburg’s head coach in April of 2010 and has compiled a record of 86-51 with eight playoff appearances.

Pollock is a 2002 graduate of Aplington-Parkersburg. He was a two-time All-State linebacker for the Falcons and was on the 2001 state champion team.
