5A 6th-ranked Cedar Falls swept Cedar Rapids Prairie in three sets.
2A 5th-ranked Denver downed Waterloo Columbus in three sets.
The Cedar Falls boys golf team hosted the Tiger Invitational yesterday at Pheasant Ridge. A total of 12 schools competed.
Johnston won the meet with a 290. The Tigers and Waukee tied for 2nd with a 296.
Cedar Falls’ Evan Schofield was the meet’s medalist, shooting a two-under, 70.
