Waterloo Police Search For Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Waterloo Police are searching for a 32-year-old man who has been charged with first-degree murder stemming from a fatal shooting. Corey Crawley has been charged with first-degree murder and for being a felon in possession of a firearm. On September 2nd, Waterloo Police were dispatched to E.4th Street and Mulberry before 1 PM for a report of an in-progress shooting. Upon arrival, officers performed life-saving measures on 45-year old Muharrum Quan Johnson of Waterloo, but he died of his injuries at a local hospital.  Anyone with information is asked to call Waterloo Police or Cedar Valley Crime Stoppers. Anyone with information leading to Crawley is eligible for a cash reward of $1,500.
