A house explosion leveled a home in rural Tama County on Monday morning, with authorities also discovering a body near the residence. The explosion happened in the rural town of Buckingham after 10:00 AM. Fire and law enforcement teams discovered a body near the residence, which has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office in Ankeny for positive identification. No other details have been released at this time.
