The Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its All-District teams and several Metro players were recognized.
In Class 4A, two Cedar Falls players were named to the Northeast District First Team — shortstop Collin Coonradt and Logan Wroe as a utility player. Cedar Falls pitcher Drew Grete and two Waterloo East players — catcher DeMaris Henderson and utility player Justin Thomas were named to the Second Team.
In Class 2A, Waterloo Columbus’ Myles Gardner was named to the Northeast District First Team, while Sailors outfielder Thomas Steele and utility player Nick Merrifield were named to the Second Team.
