In 4A, 10th-ranked Cedar Falls plays at Linn-Mar. The Tigers are coming off a thrilling 4-3 9 inning win over Dubuque Hempstead in the quarterfinals on Friday. Cedar Falls got its winning run on a walk-off homerun by Collin Coonradt.
The Tigers enter tonight’s game 25-14, while the Lions are 23-16.
In 3A, Waverly-Shell Rock hosts Mount Vernon and Independence plays at top-ranked Western Dubuque.
Waverly-Shell Rock is 21-11, while Mount Vernon owns a 12-19 record.
Independence is 21-19 and Western Dubuque is 31-9.
