The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released Regional softball pairings.
Class 1A and 2A first round games begin a week from today on Friday, June 30th. Class 3A, 4A and 5A First Round games will begin on Thursday, July 6th.

In 5A, Cedar Falls is in Region-1 and opens with a home game against Waterloo East. Waterloo West is in Region-4 and will play on Saturday, July 8th at Ames.
In 2A, Waterloo Columbus is in Region-5 and will begin tournament play on Wednesday, July 5th with a home game against Dike-New Hartford.
