Boys high school tennis Substate Final matches took place yesterday in Class 1A and 2A with winners advancing to the State Tournament.
In 1A match ups involving area schools; Decorah defeated Aplington-Parkersburg 5-0 and Dubuque Wahlert ended Waverly-Shell Rock’s season, 5-0.
In an area 2A match, Cedar Falls defeated Mason City, 5-0.
The Tigers move on to the 2A State Team Tournament which takes place in Waukee over two days, May 31st and June 1st.
