The second round of the girls golf Metro Meet took place yesterday at Gates Park in Waterloo.
Cedar Falls shot a 172 to win the meet. Waterloo West finished 2nd and Waterloo Columbus 3rd. Waterloo East did not participate.
The Tigers have built a 70-shot lead going into the third and final round at South Hills next Wednesday.
Individually, Cedar Falls sophomore Molly Ratchford continues to be atop the leader board. Yesterday she was the meet’s medalist, shooting a 39 en route to an 18-stroke lead.
