Waterloo East high school basketball standout Kewone Jones was named the MVP of the Eastern Iowa boys All-Star game last night.
Jones’ North team defeated the South 122-112 in a game played at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids.
Other area players on the North team included: Dallas Bear of Cedar Falls, Keishaun Pendleton of Waterloo West – who scored 19 points, Gladbrook-Reinbeck’s William Kiburis and Preston Gillespie from Dunkerton.
