The metro high school football teams are preparing for Week 5 games this Friday.
Cedar Falls will look to snap a two-game losing streak at home against Muscatine. Friday’s game is the Tigers annual Homecoming game.
Waterloo West will try to play giant killer when it hosts 5A 5th-ranked Southeast Polk.
Waterloo East will begin Class 4A District-2 play when it travels to 4A 3rd-ranked Waverly-Shell Rock.
And Waterloo Columbus will host Cascade in a Class 1A District-4 matchup.
