Four UNI Panthers have been named to the HERO Sports FCS Preseason All-American teams.
Kicker Matthew Cook, a native of Cedar Falls, was named to the special teams first-team, his fifth first-team All-American honor this preseason.
Linebacker Spencer Cuvelier and defensive back Benny Sapp III were named to the defensive second-team, the third preseason All-American recognition for both of them.
Linebacker Bryce Flater was listed to the defensive third-team, his first All-American recognition this preseason.
The Panthers open their season Saturday, September 3, at Air Force.
