The Cedar Falls high school boys golf team moved up to 4th place yesterday at the High School Golf National Tournament being held at the Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
The Tigers shot the lowest round of all competing schools with a second-round score of 293.
Cedar Falls is 18-shots over through two of three rounds while Georgia is in first-place at 3 under, holding a 10 shot lead over second-place North Carolina.
Individually, Cedar Falls Max Tjoa is in third-place. Tjoa shot a 67 yesterday to move just two shots off the leader.
The final round of the tournament takes place today.
