The field for the state softball tournament will begin to fill this evening as Class 1A and 2A Regional Finals take place.
In a 1A game involving an area school: 9th-ranked Clarksville travels to 3rd-ranked Lisbon.
Clarksville is 19-2, and Lisbon is 34-4.
In a 2A game involving an area school, Grundy Center is looking to punch its ticket to state at 6th-ranked Van Meter
The Spartans own an 18-9 record, while Van Meter is 29-9.
3A, 4A and 5A Regional Final games will be played tomorrow night.
