The High School Baseball playoffs continued last night with Class 1A and 2A District Semifinal games.
In area 2A games;
Williamsburg ended Waterloo Columbus’ season, 6-5.
Dike-New Hartford defeated Aplington-Parkersburg, 8-3.
And Jesup rolled past Sumner-Fredericksburg, 8-1.
Two area 2A games were affected by the weather and will be played this evening at 5:00 — Union at West Marshall and Grundy Center hosting Roland-Story.
In an area 1A match-up last night North Tama downed Hudson, 7-3.
Four other area 1A games were either suspended or postponed because of weather and will be played tonight.
They include;
Don Bosco taking on Gladbrook-Reinbeck at North Tama.
Janesville at Edgewood-Colesburg.
Dunkerton at Lansing-Kee.
And Nashua-Plainfield at St. Ansgar.
