Yesterday in regular season Metro High School sports;
In baseball, Cedar Falls split a doubleheader with Cedar Rapids Kennedy. Kennedy won game-one 14-3 and the Tigers took the nightcap 2-0.
Iowa City High took a pair of games from Waterloo West, 10-0 and 7-0.
And Waterloo East split a doubleheader with Iowa City Liberty. The Trojans won the first game 3-2 and dropped the second game 16-1.
In softball,
Iowa City Liberty rallied to beat Cedar Falls, 7-5.
Waterloo East beat Iowa City West, 10-5.
