The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released its second basketball rankings for the season.
Several area schools are in the polls.
In 5A, Waterloo West is 2nd and Cedar Falls is 3rd.
And in 2A, five North Iowa Cedar League teams are ranked as Dike New Hartford is number-one, Grundy Center 2nd, Denver is 3rd, Jesup 10th and Aplington-Parkersburg is rated 14th.
