The high school boys basketball postseason continued last night with Substate Semifinals in Class 3A
In a Substate Semifinal involving an area school,
2nd-ranked Waverly-Shell Rock rallied to beat Gilbert, 80-73.
The Go-Hawks stormed back after falling behind by eight in the 4th quarter.
Luke Frazell led Waverly-Shell Rock with 27 points.
Waverly-Shell Rock advances to the Substate Finals this Monday. The Go-Hawks will face Grinnell at Marshalltown.
