Waterloo Police is issuing a warning to residents in the area of a fundraising scam. According to a post on their Facebook page, someone will call saying they’re a representative with Waterloo Police and ask for a donation. Officials say calls like this have been going on for the past few days. If you receive a phone call like this, more than likely it’s a scam, and you’re advised to not provide any payment information.
