The Black Hawk County Roads Department has announced that they have pulled all snow plows from the county paved roads at 4:00 p.m. Friday afternoon due to high winds and low visibility. They plan to return back onto the roads at 5:00 a.m. Saturday morning. The Bremer County Highway Department has announced that they also have pulled snow plows from the roads at 3:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon due to the persistent weather conditions. They plan to return to paved and gravel roads at 5:00 a.m. on Saturday morning. Grundy County pulled their plows off the roads at 5 p.m. and will return at 6 a.m. Saturday morning.
