Last night in Metro high school volleyball;
Cedar Falls competed in a Mississippi Valley Conference quadrangular at Dubuque.
The 5A 4th-ranked Tigers won all three of their matches. Cedar Falls swept Cedar Rapids Xavier in two sets, got past Linn-Mar in three sets and swept Dubuque Hempstead in two sets.
Waterloo West hosted an MVC triangular and split its two matches.
Cedar Rapids Washington edged Waterloo West, two sets to one, and West beat Cedar Rapids Jefferson, two-sets to none.
And 2A 11th-ranked Wapsie Valley swept Waterloo Columbus in three sets.
