Waterloo West high school boys basketball coach Cliff Berinobis, who had guided the Wahawks the past nine seasons, has resigned from the position.
Last season Berinobis recorded his 100th career win at West as the Wahawks finished 18-6.
Berinobis’ best season was in 2019-20 when the Wahawks went 21-3 and he was named Mississippi Valley Conference-Valley Division Coach of the Year.
