The Waterloo West high school boys golf team opened up its season yesterday, hosting the Wahawk Invitational at Irv Warren.
Dubuque Senior won the meet, shooting a 320. Iowa City West was runner-up with a 325 while Waterloo West finished third with a 326.
Waterloo West freshman Jackson Stanford was the meet’s medalist with a 71.
