Waverly-Shell Rock high school basketball standout Katelyn Eggena has committed to Western Illinois.
Last year as a junior Eggena was the Go-Hawks’ leading scorer and rebounder. The 6-foot-1 low post player averaged 15.7 points, 8.9 rebounds and shot 49-percent from the field.
