The UNI volleyball team has received a commitment from an area standout.
Maryn Bixby of Dike-New Hartford has announced her verbal commitment to the Panthers.
Bixby is a 5-foot-11 middle hitter who is entering her senior season. She’s been part of a Wolverine program that’s played in the Class 2A state championship match the last three seasons, winning twice.
Last year she compiled 201 kills and 109 blocks.
Her Dike-New Hartford teammate, Jadyn Peterson, has also committed to UNI.
