An 18-year-old shot himself in the leg in an apparent accidental shooting in Waterloo early Wednesday morning. Waterloo Police say a group of teenagers were on a bike trail near North Hackett Road. The 18-year-old went to put his weapon away when it discharged and hit his leg. The teen was taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. No other details have been released at this time.
