Mya Dodge, who played a key role in UNI softball’s back-to-back Missouri Valley Conference regular season championships, has announced that she’s transferring to Missouri.
This past season as a sophomore Dodge was named the MVC’s Player of the Year. In 48 games she batted .396 with 17 home runs and a school record 68 RBI.
She was the MVC’s Freshman of the Year two years ago when she batted .373 with 13 homers and 34 RBI.
The 5’6″ outfielder from Hiawatha heads to Missouri with two years of eligibility remaining.
