The first round of the high school girls state tennis tournament begins tomorrow with a pair of metro school competing.
In Class 2A, Cedar Falls has a match at Ankeny Centennial. The Tigers are 14-6, while the Jaguars are 11-5.
In Class 1A, top-ranked Waterloo Columbus goes against Decorah in Independence. The Sailors are a perfect 29-0, while the Vikings own a 15-9-1 record.
The winners from tomorrow’s matches move on to the state semifinals on May 30th.
