The Metro High School Track and Field teams were all in action last night in their respective conference meets.
In boys track; The Mississippi Valley Conference Divisional Meets took place and Cedar Falls finished 2nd at the Mississippi Divisional Meet at Kingston Stadium in Cedar Rapids and Waterloo West finished 8th at the Valley Divisional at Iowa City High.
Waterloo East finished 10th in the Iowa Alliance Conference at Memorial Stadium and Waterloo Columbus finished 8th at the North Iowa Cedar League Mega Meet at Dike-New Hartford.
In girls track; Cedar Falls finished 2nd at the Mississippi Divisional Meet in Dubuque. The Tigers registered 1st-place finishes in the 3,200 and 1,600 relays, as well as the Open 800.
Waterloo West finished 8th at the Valley Divisional Meet at Iowa City West. Waterloo East finished 4th at the Iowa Alliance Conference North Division Meet in Ames and Waterloo Columbus finished 11th in the North Iowa Cedar League Mega Meet at Dike-New Hartford.
