Waterloo West’s Sahara Williams will compete in another prestigious national basketball event on Saturday.
Williams will take part in the Nike Hoops Summit, an annual event that showcases the country’s top high school seniors against international competition.
This year’s event takes place in Portland, Oregon.
Williams recently participated in the McDonald’s All-American Game in Houston.
This season at Waterloo West she averaged 20.8 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and four steals per game.
Williams has committed to play at Oklahoma next season.
