Saturday’s Black Hawks loss means Waterloo is just three points ahead of the Lincoln Stars for second place in the USHL Western Conference. The Tri-City Storm are lurking seven points back in fourth. Fargo continues to lead the conference by nine points over Waterloo.
Waterloo goes on the road for games in Lincoln next Friday and Saturday, then to Sioux City on Sunday.
