Cedar Falls’ Jackson Satterlee wins 3A State Bowling Championship, West’s Wilson finishes 3rd

The 2023 High School State Bowling Tournament began its three day run this morning with the Class 3A individual tournament at Maple Lanes.

In boys competition, Cedar Falls sophomore Jackson Satterlee advanced through the field to win the championship, becoming the first individual bowling champion in Cedar Falls school history.  

In girls competition, defending state champion Sydney Wilson of Waterloo West finished in 3rd-place.

Tuesday, the 2A team and 1A individual tournaments take place.

The team tournament is taking place at Cadillac Lanes XBC, while the individual tournament is being held at Maple Lanes.
