Waverly-Shell Rock’s Lindsey Overmann announced on Twitter that she’s committed to play soccer at UNI.
Overmann, a center back, helped lead Waverly-Shell Rock to the Class 2A finals last season as a junior. She was named to the 2A All-Tournament team.
She helped lead a Go-Hawks defense that allowed just six goals the entire season.
I’m excited to announce that I committed to UNI to play soccer! A huge thank you to my family, friends, teammates, and all of the coaches who believed in me and helped me get this opportunity! Go Cats!! 💜💛@UNIsoccerBruce @UNI_Soccer @VSA_Rush pic.twitter.com/i63P9wTDGy
