Waterloo West girls basketball standout Sahara Williams will be representing the USA in international action.
Williams has made the USA Under-18, 3-on-3 women’s basketball team.
She’ll next compete in the FIBA Under-18, 3-on-3 Women’s World Cup in Hungary, August 23rd through the 28th.
Williams, a 5-10 forward, committed to the University of Oklahoma in May.
This past season as a junior, she averaged 19.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and four assists per game.
She has helped the Wahawks reach the state basketball tournament the last three years, including an appearance in the state championship game last season.
