Seven former players who distinguished themselves with the Waterloo East High School football program are being recognized for their contributions.
They will be inducted into the 2022 Waterloo East Football Ring of Honor.
This year’s inductees include: Chuck Carpenter, Russell Jones, Marcus Mangum, Rudy Martin, Dickie Smith, Lloyd Tims, and in memoriam, Adam Van Syoc.
The inductees were chosen by a panel of past players, coaches, and administration directly related to Trojan football.
The induction ceremony will take place Thursday, September 15th in the East High commons area. The event is open to the public.
