High School softball postseason play continued last night with Regional Quarterfinal games in Classes 1A, 2A and 3A.
In area 1A games;
Don Bosco got past Turkey Valley, 3-2.
9th-ranked Clarksville blanked Janesville, 10-0.
North Butler shutout Riceville, 8-0.
And Fort Dodge St. Edmonds beat AGWSR, 8-1.
In area 2A Regional Quarterfinals;
Alburnette took down Waterloo Columbus, 9-5.
Dike-New Hartford overpowered Jesup, 13-2.
East Marshall stopped Wapsie Valley, 3-1.
Grundy Center rolled past Pleasantville, 9-1.
And Iowa City Regina cruised past Denver, 11-1.
And in area 3A games;
Independence beat Union, 10-3.
And Sumner-Fredericksburg shutout Oelwein, 7-0.
