Waterloo East and Waterloo West high schools are set for the approval of girls wrestling teams.
The Waterloo Board of Education is expected to approve the formation of girls wrestling teams at both schools when it meets this evening at 5.
This follows the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union’s January announcement that wrestling would become a sanctioned sport this upcoming school year.
