Girls High School regional tennis took place yesterday.
Cedar Falls’ Maya Mallavarapu defeated Sasha Hyacinth of Waterloo West in the singles finals.
And Cedar Falls’ Sriya Kalala and Ella Seger beat a team from Cedar Rapids Kennedy to win the doubles finals.
In a 1A regional at Waterloo Columbus, The Sailors Alli Hagness beat teammate Sophia Fain to win the singles finals.
And Waterloo Columbus’ Avery Hogan and Chloe Bulter won the doubles finals.
Winners and runners-up move on to the state tournament, which will take place May 27th and 28th.
