The second round of the girls Metro Meet took place yesterday at Irv Warren golf course in Waterloo.
Waterloo Columbus’ Molly Feredy was the medalist with a 42. Cedar Falls Molly Ratchford was runner-up with a 43.
Cedar Falls finished first, shooting 189. Waterloo West was second with a 215 while Waterloo Columbus totaled 225 and Waterloo East finished with a 299. After two rounds of the Metro Meet, Cedar Falls has a 90-shot lead over Waterloo West.
Yesterday in girls soccer involving a Metro team: Waterloo Columbus outlasted Gladbrook-Reinbeck-Grundy Center 2-1 in an overtime shootout.
