Iowa State men’s basketball has landed VCU big man Hason Ward. The 6’9″ forward made his commitment to Iowa State late Saturday night.
Ward played three seasons with the Rams, but has two seasons of eligibility left due to the extra year from the pandemic.
Ward averaged 6 points and 5 rebounds a game this past season playing roughly 20 minutes per game. Of his 79 career games with VCU, Ward started 35 of them.
He’s known as a rim protector and has averaged 1.5 blocks per game.
