UNI women’s basketball guard Anaya Barney has entered the transfer portal. She made the announcement on Twitter today.
Barney redshirted this past season after a standout career at Cedar Falls where she was a three-time all-state selection and averaged 24-points and ten-rebounds a game as a senior and was named the 2021 Class 5A Player of the Year.
Barney finished her career at Cedar Falls as the second all-time leading scorer in girls’ basketball with 1,455-points.
