Waterloo Warriors begin D-2 National Championship Tournament today

The Waterloo Warriors Hockey team will be competing in the USA High School Division-2 National Championship Tournament starting today. The tournament will take place in Dallas, Texas.

The Warriors open up play in the tournament this afternoon at 2:00 against a team from Nevada. 

Waterloo will play a total of four games, through Sunday, and possibly a fifth game if they advance to the title game on Monday. 

The Waterloo Warriors won the Midwest High School Hockey League regular season championship. They’re comprised of players from the Metro and Cedar Valley area.
