Waverly-Shell Rock’s all-time leading scorer in girls basketball has entered the transfer portal after her college coach announced a sudden retirement.
Abbie Draper, who just finished her first year at Bradley and was named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshmen Team, is now exploring her options in the portal.
This past Tuesday, Andrea Gorski surprised many by announcing her retirement after six years as head coach at Bradley.
Draper was an All-State selection as a Senior and helped lead Waverly-Shell Rock to a pair of state tournament appearances.
